About Us
On January 14, 2005, Knitted Souls of Lambda Tau, Inc. d/b/a Knitted Souls Foundation Inc., was established as a 501c3 not for profit organization with the purpose of providing financial support to programs and initiatives to promote community and youth uplifting services in service areas of McIntosh, Camden, and Glynn counties. One of our primer partners is the local alumni chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Together they have been involved in many of our community and youth development endeavors since the origins of the foundation.
Our Mission
Knitted Souls' mission is to provide or support outreach in marginalized areas in the coastal region by providing empowerment activities to attract citizens interest to perform their civil duties, uplift the youth and engage the community. We focus on programs and events for both youth upliftment and community development.
